Introducing

What Works For Susan Won't Work For Tameka

This book isn’t just a culturally responsive resource—it’s rooted in my lived experience as a Black woman and survivor of sexual assault.

What Works for Susan Won’t Work for Tameka is a tool designed to empower and equip advocates, organizations, and institutions to show up better for survivors in marginalized communities.

It’s about meeting people where they are, honoring their stories, and making sure our services reflect the cultural and historical truths that shape who they are.”
